Operator

The operator is the person who handles the powders in the laboratory. Micronization produces a very fine powder of possibly toxic materials, and they are used in many everyday laboratory applications, such as, for example, weighing and precision operations or the transfer of the substance itself. Such manipulations are commonly performed but can pose a health risk. Powders must therefore be effectively contained to prevent the operator from breathing them in and/or dispersing them into the surrounding environment.
